Ryan’s been behind the kit since he was 10, drawing inspiration from all kinds of music—if it has rhythm, it’s in his DNA. While he’s most at home rocking out to classic rock, his versatility makes him the band’s true timekeeper. He met Kyle back in 2008 at an afterparty for Sun Mountain Fiddler, discovered they were practically neighbors, and October Mountain Band was born.

When he’s not laying down the beat, you’ll find him disc golfing, hiking, walking his dog Atlas, or discovering hidden spots off the beaten path.

If his musical taste were a drink? It’d be mead—not stirred. Smooth, strong, and a little unexpected.

Ryan — Drums

A lifelong musician influenced by legends like Les Claypool and John Entwistle, Rob brings heavy, progressive energy to the band’s freestyle jams. He joined October Mountain Band through a mutual friend and quickly became the go-to guy for sound, lights, and stage setup. When he’s not playing, he’s restoring an old farmhouse, gardening, or diving into strategy video games. His music taste? Like a Long Island Iced Tea—bold, layered, and a little wild.

Rob – Bass

Kyle’s been singing and strumming for embarrassingly 26 years. A founding member of October Mountain Band, he started the group 17 years ago with Ryan and Josh in Lee, MA—right beneath the band’s namesake. Influenced by legends like Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Beatles, Clapton, and Zeppelin, his favorite songs to cover lean into reggae grooves and bluegrass twang. Offstage, he’s either parenting, tackling house projects, or scheming the next jam. A longtime practitioner of Shaolin White Dragon Kung Fu (thanks to 12 years in his dad’s dojo), Kyle brings the same focus to the stage—along with a dash of mischief. Within the band, he’s proudly the instigator. If his musical taste were a drink? A Jameson shot with a Steel Rail back—smooth with a kick.

Kyle – Lead Vocals & Rhythm Guitar

Devin has been playing guitar for 17 years, blending soulful blues with the melodic influences of the Allman Brothers, Tedeschi Trucks Band, and The Beatles. He joined October Mountain Band when Kyle—being a good neighbor—asked if he’d be up for filling the guitarist spot. Blues is his favorite genre to cover, but don’t let his quiet vibe fool you—he’s the band’s sharp-eyed observer, always tuned in. When he’s not playing, Devin’s handling all the “boring adulting duties” like the rest of us. Fun fact: he always dreamed of being a drummer. If his musical taste came in a glass? It’d be a Grateful Dead—bold, layered, and full of surprises.

Devin – Lead Guitar

Emerging from the vibrant heart of the music scene, October Mountain Band is a formidable collective that seamlessly fuses rock, blues, reggae, and modern influences into a sound uniquely their own. Inspired by legendary acts such as Chris Stapleton, Sublime, The Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Greta Van Fleet, and ZZ Top, the band channels the spirit of these icons while carving out a fresh musical identity.
